FAIC Grants and Scholarships

The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1972 to solicit, receive and maintain funds in order to support the charitable, scientific, and educational activities of AIC and the field of conservation. FAIC offers grants, scholarships and funded awards for projects that support AIC’s mission and goals. For information on how you can contribute to FAIC, please click here.

Guidelines, applications, and final reports are available in PDF formats, and some are available in MS Word. Adobe Acrobat is required to read and print PDF files. Click here if you need to download Acrobat Reader.

Applications must be received at the AIC office by the submission deadline. Electronic submissions are encouraged but not required. Important:  you may submit your application electronically only if all of your materials (except for letters of support, if required) can be submitted electronically. If using a MS Word form, please combine the application form and all supporting materials into a single electronic document in PDF, RTF, or Microsoft Word format. Name the file to include your last name ("smith.doc" or "smithapplication.pdf") or name of your organization ("smithmuseum.rtf"). If you use our new PDF fill-in forms, send supporting materials as separate files.  Send file(s) as an e-mail attachment to faicgrants@aic-faic.org. You should receive a reply by e-mail acknowledging receipt within 72 hours. Final reports may also be sent as e-mail attachments to faicgrants@aic-faic.org
