The specialty groups started to organize at the seventh AIC
Annual Meeting in Toronto, Canada in 1979. Since that time, AIC members
have had the option of joining any of the groups representing their area
of expertise and professional interest. All specialty groups publish
bi-monthly columns in the AIC News, conduct sessions at AIC annual
meetings, and send representatives to Internal Advisory Group meetings
with the AIC Board. To join any of these groups, please mark the
appropriate information on your membership application and include the
appropriate dues.
